At 10:10am on June 9th, 2008, Jagdeep Singh Pannu said…: I forgot to add that you can then publish your presentation to authorSTREAM and get multiple sharing options and embed code to publish on your own site/blog/network etc. You can also download the presentation to iPods and use the video version to upload to YouTube, Teacher Tube etc. to generate more awareness on the topic.

Environment is an interesting topic for children of this age. Perhaps, you can ask your students to make a drawing and write a small caption for the drawing in about 20-30 words. Then you can scan or take a picture of these drawings and compile them into a presentation, with the children narrating their slides like Mrs. Welch's class:

I will be teaching 3rd grade in our new school year and would like to find a class willing to collaborate possibly on an environmental project.
