Hi. I am the Curriculum Director for the American School of Tegucigalpa, a private school in Honduras. I am a complete beginner in the world of podcasting but I know it can make a difference for our students. After all, they live in the technological world and it is time that our school joins them.
Yes. I started with recording short 10 minute review lessons with audacity and then moved to the screencast podcasts. Check out my site to see them in Subjects under US history or Ancient World History. I started with a short recording of the chapter summaries in our textbooks and went from there.

Sue,
Thanks for you note. I am formulating ideas on how we might best use podcasts for reaching our students. My first is maybe moving the proverbial lecture out of the classroom and into podcasts so that classtime can be better used for active learning tasks. What do you think?
