iPod Educators

Educational podcasters reaching the iPod generation

Hi

My name is Sue Palmer and I am a high school teacher in western NewYork state teaching at risk inclusion classes. As an effort to facilitate success for my students, I decided to use their technology, specifically their iPods and mp3 players, to help them master material needed for the state tests which they all must take and most must pass to graduate. The results have been amazing! I started a site to hold my work and the podcast itself can be obtained in iTunes as MasteryCast!
I have created this social network for educational podcasters and those who are interested in podcasting and related technology in the classroom. The goal of the network is to share ideas, resources ans experiences. If you podcast, you know that it takes time! For me, it is a labor of love and has become the difference between success and failure, or dropping out for many of my students. If we work together, we can lighten the load for all!

I hope you will join me in this endeavor. The technology is powerful!

Thanks!

Sue P
