- I am still quite a noobie at using technology to enhance the classroom, and in fact do not even own an ipod yet!! However, the idea that we need to change the way we are trying to reach our students is one that is valid and should be accepted as fact. The days of having the teacher stand in front of the classroom giving information with student sitting in their seats with their hands folded and feet flat on the floor, regurgitating back the same information are over...So many things in "normal" culture have changed, why hasn't education??

New York has approved a policy to move forward with a possible virtual high school as early as 2011- 2012! I have used my podcasts as part of my online learning program-- we may see more use for these skills for teachers in the future.
