Hello all. I'm enrolled in the Masters in Education Media and Technology program at Full Sail University and wanted to share a few of the podcast/media projects I've completed so far. Use 'em as you see fit.

Hi, my name is Luke Perry and I am the secondary literacy supervisor for Battle Creek Public Schools, in Battle Creek, Michigan. We are in the process of purchasing the touch for a pilot program we are starting up to help students with reading disabilities boost their comprehension. I expect, as the year progresses, that we'll be referencing (and hopefully contributing to) this website as we develop our understanding of what this device can do for us in the classroom.

My name is Mark Carls and I work for CA BOCES in Western New York as an educational tech integrator. I'm currently at two districts for a day a week. I've been interested in seeing what others have done with iPods and especially iPod Touch or other handheld devices in education. Wonering also if anyone in here is part of https://www.ischoolinitiative.com/
Thanks.
Mark

Hi, I am Rob from Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Like may other teachers I was initially conflicted when it came to Podcasting. But my students love downloading the Podcasts and I feel certain it has accellerated the learning process. To see some samples of what I've been doing, you can visit my blog and click on either the eLearner or the eEducator tabs.

Hello there and my name is Lee Winik. I am a Grade 7/8 teacher in Cold Lake, Alberta. I have done some podcasting with my students but have not really published their work to the web. I am looking forward to continuing this project with students this year. I started a website called techtips4teachers.posterous.com and I will likely by putting my screen and podcasts there to share with any other educator.

I am looking forward to learning from everyone here on this Ning.

Lee

I've experimented with a couple of tools for creating enhanced Podcasts (narrated slides). I started originally with simply narrating Powerpoint slides, but the file sizes are too big for downloading. I am currently using Elluminate Live for webcast…
